In honor of Giovanni Dos Santos keeping it college, I might as well go ahead and post about the 2008 NCAA Men's College Cup that starts tomorrow at Pizza Hut Park in Dallas. Wake Forest will take on North Carolina (5:30 pm, ET) first, with Maryland battling with St. John's (8 pm, ET) in the second game. Both games will be televised on ESPN2. I am taking Wake Forest and Maryland in the semi's with Maryland upsetting the Demon Deacons in the final. It's a good think I have no reason to be biased at all, I only live about 5 minutes from the University of Maryland.
I am looking forward to the games though, should be a good display of the top young, college talent in the US. A few of the players we see this weekend will hopefully be making an impact on your favorite MLS team next year. Terps are on a roll, they're going to upset Wake in the final and get revenge for their 4-2 loss earlier in the season. Put it on the board... Championship!
